Our story

Mango Valley was born from a simple realization: many people spend their lives taking care of everyone else while quietly neglecting their well-being.

After decades working in healthcare, emergency services, wellness education, and personal development, we witnessed firsthand how stress, burnout, grief, and constant responsibility erode clarity, balance, and resilience.

We envisioned a place where people could step away from the noise of daily life, renew their spirit, restore their energy, and reconnect with what truly matters.

Today, Mango Valley serves as a gathering place to reflect, grow, and nurture lasting well-being—through rest, adventure, healing, and personal transformation.

Explore the Mango Valley property and forest trails above Grecia on your own schedule. This highland corridor is one of Costa Rica's richest birding areas, with calls and seasonal movements that shift throughout the day.

On the property and nearby trails you may spot up to 26 different species—including rufous-tailed hummingbirds, copper-headed emeralds, keel-billed toucans, clay-colored thrushes, Montezuma oropendolas, and, with luck, scarlet macaws in nearby corridors.
